Martin County Schools currently has an opening for a Pre-Kindergarten Teacher Assistant for the upcoming school year. (Start Date: August 18, 2022)
This is a 10-month position, and the salary is based on Grade 56 of the state salary scale for classified employees ($2,253.33-$3,422.63 per month). See attached job description for more information.

Job Qualification
--Associate's Degree, or completion of 48 semester hours of transferable (Grade C or better) college credits, AND
--Six documented semester hours of coursework in early childhood education, OR two years of work experience in an early childhood setting.
--CPR, First Aid, and Playground Safety certifications, preferred.
--Teacher Assistants hired after 2/1/11 must hold a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements or be willing and eligible to obtain such a license at the next training opportunity. If the individual does not pursue a CDL with P/S endorsements at the next training opportunity or if he/she is ineligible to obtain such a license, this could result in recommendation for dismissal.
